Then much later Rogue 1, then the Force Awak, then stopped to fill the gap before Leia dies. but which one? I guessed The Last Jed. and voila! Am watching it now! Whee! Ok Ill shut now. Dang sounds like Christmas music and I love it since its fitting its December theme. Why does it have that 86% RT score. I think it's because they paid people to rate it. If you look at Metacritic, the fan score is a 4.9/10. Pretty shifty. I'm very disappointed with this movie. A lot of fails and things that does not make any sense at all. Despite all this, for me the two biggest fail of this movie are:
1 - The characters are terrible, since the Star Wars VII. They have no empathy or charism;
2 - Everything is too easy, the starships are like paper sometimes, and other moments, too much powerful, nothing is realistic. And because of that, our mind refuses to accept;
If you want to see a good Star Wars, check The Mandalorian ou Rogue One, this not to mention Star Wars III that is the best of all times for me. br> And, be prepared, the final act of this movie is the worst part.

J.J. save what Jonson try to kill, he give the right ending at the saga, who criticizes the movie it's not a star wars fans and probably has not even seen the movie, who goes to see a movie already knowing that will not like it. I don't know, but I know that this movie has inside everything that this Galaxy need to make happy young people and people who are young inside. Its true all of it the skywalkers are dead. After watching the movie I went home as happy and could not have been happier, this movie is everything i could have asked for. as a fan of the series I loved all the movies but this one I love a little more, it closed the story perfectly and how the creators gave the fans all they could, they really listened to the fans after the TLJ and fixed the things that where missing and needed. I felt like this movie was a great step up from the last movies.
they closed this story perfectly not just the the sequels but they closed the originals perfectly as well and just the whole story in its glory.
my last thought of this movie are that it is perfect and as a fan could not haves asked for a better ending to this amazing story.

Story : 2/10, story is very bad, give it a 2 cos it still got a not bad ending.
Execution : 1/10, this is the worst part, the movie is so boring and had no emotional effect at all.

The story is so bad, the background story of star wars is so huge but they keep recycle the old story and character. The new trilogy make the prequel trilogy look like masterpiece. I actually feel sorry for Hayden Christensen. Everybody says he was miscast for the role of Anakin. I think that's bullshit. Rather, he was the victim of idiotic dialog and terrible directing - both courtesy of George Lucas. You look at the scripted childish outbursts he had to perform and it's absolutely painful. What the hell was Lucas thinking.
